The Artemis Gin is slowly distilled using 11 delicate botanicals, most handpicked on Vis. The botanicals that give it the distinctive taste are placed in our botanical basket and vapour infused, whereas the remaining botanicals are macerated in the pot 24 hours before the start of the 12 hours distillation process. The chosen botanicals give the Artemis Gin a floral aroma and taste that one associates with the warm summer evenings on the Island. The inside of the label represents the Greek goddess Artemis. A bronze head of Artemis from the Issa times was found on the Island.
